Titanal FR (titanium molybdenum Alloy-TMA*) has 42% of the stiffness of a like-size stainless steel wire. Titanal FR is fully bendable and is ideal for introducing torque towards the mid to finishing stages of treatment. It works well for running Class II elastics and can be used with other auxiliaries to enhance finishing movements. Bending Titanal FR intraorally can also be accomplished to enhance finishing stages of treatment. This wire has a smooth, highly polished finish which reduces friction.
